hallo, ich habe ein siemens gigaset al285 gekauft, weil es einen ab hat, den mittels fernabfrage abhören kann. leider funktioniert es nicht. weder mit handy, festnetz, telefonkabine. den pin habe ich geändert, aber wenn ich die taste 9 drücke und den pin eingebe, passiert überhaupt nichts.

hat da jemand eine lösung für das problem, ein tipp?

Hi,

I have exactly the same problem!

I try to set a new PIN (which is not straight forward) and then when I press 9 while listening to the outgoing message, nothing happens!

Please help!

Before you can control the answering machine externally you have to set the System-PIN to a value which is not 0000: Open telephone menu "Base", select "System-PIN" and then FIRST enter the old PIN and then the new PIN.
